New FDA Ruling for Over-The-Counter Hearing Aids – Big News for You
In light of the new FDA ruling, Echo Hearing Center is excited to offer a new format for hearing healthcare. As you may have heard, the FDA has finalized its ruling that permits hearing aids to be sold over-the-counter (OTC). We do believe this will lead to a wider variety of options for the hearing healthcare experience. Many of these options will provide lower initial expenses for many patients.
OTC hearing aids will likely benefit many patients with low prices and increased convenience. At the same time, some patients may
rightfully have concerns about receiving follow-up care and general maintenance for their hearing devices (i.e. “Who helps set these up?” or “Who can I call/see if things stop working?”).
